C-motech U-301, the Sprint 3G CDMA/4G WiMAX U301 USB Modem

In July WiMAXian featured C-motech CMU-301 earned WiMAX Forum Certification for dual mode CDMA/WiMAX USB modem.
Recently C-motech released a dual mode ‘U-301′ USB modem that supports 3G CDMA EVDO Rev A and mobile WiMAX Wave 2.

CLEAR Goes Live in Chicago

Chicago has long-awaited the launch of a WiMAX network. In 2007, Clearwire and Sprint agreed jointly to build a nationwide network, with Chicago getting the service as early as 2008. The Clearwire-Sprint deal fell apart at the end of 2007, but the two companies merged their wireless broadband units into a new entity in 2008.

Sprint to Launch WiMAX in Chicago October 6

4G World 2009 Conference just end up on 18 September in Chicago and soon the long-waited WiMAX in Chicago will go alive.
DSLReports recently shared that Sprint circulated an e-mail announcing that they’re launching Mobile WiMAX in Chicago on October 6 as part of a full day launch event:
