Menatelecom launched its WiMAX comercial service in November 2008 in Bahrain.  Menatelecom’s WiMAX service uses IEEE 802.16e standard with connection speeds of up to 8Mpbs. Additional WiMAX service is wireless telephony with a 77xxxxxx number and unlimited calls to other Mena lines.
