Intel recently displayed many WiMAX-enabled Centrino Notebooks at Intel-UQ Communications event in Japan.
Asus , Sony, Toshiba, Acer, Panasonic, NEC, Onkyo, Fujitsu,Sharp, Dell,HP and Lenovo were companies that displayed their Intel Centrino 2-Notebook on June 8 to support UQ WiMAX in Japan.

In February, Intel announced to collaborates with notebook manufacturers in Japan to expand the market for products that take advantage of WiMAX, including notebook based on Intel Centrino 2 processor technology with WiMAX capabilities.
