Recently at BROADBAND TAIWAN 2009, one of the six WiMAX providers in Taiwan, VMAX Telecom displayed a WiMAX-enabled Taxi from Taipei-based taxi fleet M-Taxi.
Inside the taxi you can see an integrated WiMAX/GPS MID in the back seat running Windows CE, which will allow customers to access Internet, watch IPTV and mobile data services while riding.

The latest WiMAX-related exhibition in Japan was WIRELESS JAPAN 2009.Currently CEATEC JAPAN 2009 being held from October 6 to 10 at Makuhari Messe (Nippon Convention Center),Chiba City,Japan.

In this June there were so many WiMAX event around the world. In June 2-3 WiMAX Forum Global Congress in Amsterdam, Netherlands where Intel unveiled 3.5 GHz WiMAX-enabled notebok. On the same time,June 2-6, there was COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2009 in Taiwan which has “WiMAX on the Move” theme.
