Kulacom Jordan Launch WiMAX/WiFi Router Provided by SK Telesys

Zain ISP is now have a contender as WiMAX provider in Jordan.
Kulacom was awarded 3.68GHz band (15MHz channel bandwidth) and 3.65GHz (10MHz channel bandwidth) in 2008 and completed building base stations and transmission networks in early 2009. As it begins providing commercial WiMAX in May, it also announced its plan to secure 2.5 million customers by 2012.
Established in Dubai in 2006, Kulacom is a WiMAX-based communications services company. It is currently expanding its business in the MENA region and Northern Europe and diversifying its product offerings to include VoIP, IPTV and games. As for its WiMAX project in Jordan, the company formed a subsidiary named Kulacom Jordan.

The first phase of network deployment currently covers over 30 percent of the Greater Amman Area, with plans to rapidly increase the coverage area over the coming year, in addition to expanding to other areas across the Kingdom.

Meanwhile, SK Telecom announced that it successfully exported Korea’s Wibro technology to Jordan at the WiMAX service launch ceremony held on the same day at Kulacom Jordan headquarters located in Amman, Jordan.SK Telecom signed a USD 2.55 million partnership agreement with Kulacom to provide consulting on WiMAX technology.

SK Telesys, a Korean Wibro (WiMAX in Korea) equipment company, also joined the project as the equipment provider, which carries a meaning in that the two Korean companies – a service operator and its equipment vendor – entered the overseas market together.

Recently Kulacom launch WiMAX/WiFi router which apparently provided by SK Telesys. As you can see SK Telesys logo printed on it.

“Together, WiMAX and WiFi are the ideal solution to provide our customers with convenient and affordable broadband internet services. By combining WiMAX and WiFi access together, we are sparing our customers the cost of buying a separate router making it even simpler for them to access the high-speed internet connectivity that subscribers have grown to expect from Kulacom.”, said Hazim F. Alaeddin, Kulacom Jordan’s CEO.

At this time we don’t have any information about this WiMAX/WiFi router. Presumably it already utilized for Wibro.

Can anyone give some information on the specifications of the SKTelesys router all in one device? I have one and am attempting to apply a password to it for a MacBook. Would love any help.
    Thanks!

The router comes with no manual or guide. This is unacceptable.
