Motorola Introduce USBw200 and CPEi 725 : The Best-in-Class Radio Performance in New WiMAX Devices
Motorola is committed to leading the industry with end-to-endt wi4 WiMAX solutions addressing the full scope of the operator’s deployment needs including access, core, devices, network management and services.
Recently Motorola introduce two new WiMAX devices that deliver superior radio performance and throughput.
The USBw 200 dongle enables broadband on the go. The CPEi 725 is a desktop unit that provides fixed and nomadic access and also supports Voice over IP (VoIP) capability. Both feature two antennas and switched transmitter diversity — which means a better network connection.
The USBw200 and CPEi 725 are part of Motorola’s portfolio of broadband wireless access technologies, comprehensive platform of wireless solutions and service. The USBw200 apparently will replace the award-winning USBw100 and CPEi 725 appearance similar to CPEi750 and CPEi 775.

USBw200’s radio performance are transit 200 mW maximum, highly sensitive receiver (>5dB better than WiMAX Forum specifications), convolution turbo coding (CTC), omni-directional antennas, hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ), transmit antenna switching and network entry power boost.
Available Multi Frequency Band : 2300 – 2400 MHz (USBw23200), 2496 – 2690 MHz (USBw25200) and 3400 – 3600 MHz (USB235200).
As well as true Plug & Play operation, with no need for a CD-ROM for installation, the USBw200 compatible with Windows XP ( SP2/SP3) and Vista.Unfortunately it doesn’t support Mac OS X.

CPEi 725’s radio performance are highly sensitive receiver (>5dB better than WiMAX Forum specifications) across all modulation schemes, antenna gain : 2 x 5dBi Omni directional performance.Throughput >5MBps Down-Link and >2MBps Up-Link.
With true Plug & Play capability and over the air (OTA) software upgrades, the CPEi 725 compatible with Windows and Mac.
