Sony Vaio P Netbook with WiMAX Option : Unboxing Pics
Sony supported UQ WiMAX by embedded Intel WiMAX/WiFi Link 5150 module to its Vaio series.The Sony Vaio Z WiMAX-enabled notebook was displayed at Intel-UQ Communications event in Japan last month.
Recently Sony announced to release another Viao series with WiMAX option.It will be Sony Vaio P Series, the first Sony stylish netbook.
Customer can choose to embedded Intel WiMAX/WiFi Link 5150 module and will cost additional 10,000 yen (~$106).


Preorders appear to begin on July 27th and expected to be released in Japan on the 30th.
Vaio P has built-in Wireless WAN/GPS card which is the same size with Intel WiMAX/WiFi Link 5150 Half Minicard Version.You can replace them just like PC Watch did.
