HTC T8290,The First WiMAX HTC Smartphone

It has been almost a month since many blogger post about leaked out information HTC T8290 (code-named HTC Quartz). But there are no words about the official announcement from HTC or Yota ,it was said that HTC T8290 will be released by Yota, Rusia WiMAX provider.Although  HTC T8290 has good impression, check out the specifications below :

  • Cellular networks: GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS900, UMTS2100
  • Cellular Data connections: CSD, GPRS, EDGE, 3G/UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA
  • TouchScreen: WVGA 480 x 800 TFT 3.8 ” (65536 scales) MDDI Samsung S3CA460
  • ROM: 512MB
  • RAM: 256MB or 128MB
  • Mobile WiMAX: 802.16e (chipset Sequans SQN1130)
  • Wi-Fi: 802.11b/g with VoWLAN capabilities (VoIP enabled)
  • MicroSD, microSDHC, TransFlash and SDIO support
  • Built-in GPS
  • Built-in accelerometer (GSensor)
  • TV-Out
  • 5 Megapixel Camera
  • IrDA
